I think its a Dodge Ram interior (probably engine and gear box too)

has blistein shocks, drilled disk brakes, and it seems like it also has a current gen 5.7 HEMI engine snugly fit.

Costs less than 30,000 Dollars and has antique plates that basically exempt it from everything.

Please, stop me from buying it.

So they replaced the best part of a Wagoneer with the worst part of a Ram. Nice.

Looks like they plopped it onto a standard Commander chassis from the cerberus years. Pass.

How is the 5.7 hemi the worst part about the Ram?

I think it was a case of lazy “I can’t bother to have custom ECU and electrics” engineering.

Dodge has done it before, for Roadkill when they stocked an old Challenger with a current gen hellcat engine and charger interior (and rear lights Yuck!) to go with.

Why a RAM and not a Jeep Commander?

Too strange for my taste.

I like the concept, although I would’ve kept the period correct interior.

Charger, not Challenger. And the original lights are back in it now.

I think it’s rad! I’d drive the hell out of it!

HOWEVER! It’s crack pipe all day everyday if it isn’t four wheel drive!

That interior is 2nd gen Dodge Durango. Pass on that alone.

I think the Wagoneer/Cherokee is one of the most handsome vehicles ever made. I owned on briefly:

My first instinct, as well — just looking at it. That might not be a terrible thing for driveability, but it’s far from “pure.”

I was talking about the interior.

I never like when they plop modern interiors into these classic cars. It’s not the worst if it’s like a 60's Mustang body grafted onto a current Mustang, at least then the current Mustang is still retro-inspired and therefore has a semi-correct looking interior.

But THIS? This is an abomination of an interior, in its original car, in its new home AND by any stretch of the imagination, it never looked good. To me.

*breathe*

That being said, i would love to have it and make an attempt at salvaging that interior, because I’d love to have a Grand Wagoneer that approaches some modicum of efficiency and reliability.

Yeah, I feel ya... If I ever did a project car I’d fight with the electronics all day long but keep the original interior!

according to the add, truck was built by shop in Texas, wish there were more details, like what is the VIN of the truck, wagonner? Dodge? due to not being original, the 25 year rule does not apply. Remember, it’s located in Mexico

Well, it has the classic car plates, so I suppose it kept the original VIN.

it does certainly leave out a lot of information.
